In 21st century learning visual art is becoming increasingly more important for whole-child development including creative and critical thinking, problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. We strive to meet that need through our engaging fine art program for K-12 students. We are an Oregon non-profit.
We help our students balance their own creative ideas with superior technical fine art instruction so they may grow to express their own personal visions. Through rich and fun curriculum, students are capable of creating real fine art, beyond crafty projects. You won't get popsicle sticks or cotton ball art with us! Our professional staff strives to make learning art skills fun while providing students with high-quality materials, small group instruction, and an opportunity to develop qualities such as self esteem, personal expression, group participation, artistic confidence, respect for others, and an appreciation of visual art.
It is a policy and priority of Fine Art Starts that there is no discrimination or harassment on the grounds of race, color, sex, marital status, religion, national origin, age, disability or sexual orientation in any educational programs, activities or employment.
